The North-East Grandiose Mountain Motorcycle Ride 8 Days / 7 Nights: We present Customer to ride this wild and remote corner of Northeast Vietnam. It’s not an easy challenge, riding the motorbike through jungle and cloud forests, slippery and craggy mountain ranges, colorful villages of exotic ethnic minorities. Motorcycle riding to explore the Ha Giang northernmost province with the beautiful valleys, karst formations – global geopark of rock, meandering rivers, dense forests, stilt houses with thatched roof, elegantly shaped rice terraces and the impressive Ban Gioc waterfall in Cao Bang province.
If lucky, or planned well, the Dong Van weekly market on Sunday morning will provide an opportunity to see this traditions, lifestyle, housing architecture and colorful costumes. We bring Customer to a paradise of pristine nature and ancient tribal culture.

Riding in Detail
Day 1: Ha Noi – Thac Ba lake
Ride easy along the Red river to Thac Ba, a beautiful artificial lake. Its surrounding region is a largest home to a variety of ethnic minorities like the White Dao, Tay and H’mong. The Dao ethnic with their white pants, are the most beautifully dressed. In the afternoon, we should reach the village of Dao ethnic where we will stay the night. Start a short hiking around the village to enjoy the fresh air, untouched nature and partake in the daily life of the locals. Back to the home-stay for dinner and chat together with the local people very simple and friendly. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 2: Thac Ba lake – Ha Giang
After breakfast, ride motorcycle to Ha Giang province. Along the way, you will see a picturesque landscape of rolling hills, quiet villages and lush rice paddies dotted with palm tree. It has more off-road motorbike riding options and also offers a different view of mountain from the ones you’ve seen before. It will surely make you feel worthy to be here with the motorbike touring. Arrive in Ha Giang town in the late afternoon. Overnight at the homestay of Tay ethnic people.

Day 3: Ha Giang – Dong Van
Motorcycle riding brings you to Dong Van plateau situated at 1025m above sea level, inhabited by H’mong and Tay ethnic groups. One of the best choices for Vietnam motorcycle touring to discover all famous destinations:
– Ride to Heavenly gate of Quan Ba before arriving at Yen Minh – a beautiful valley nestled amongst green mountain. They are so called because one gets the feeling of touching the sky – heaven’s gates.
– Enjoy the large and breathtaking plateau of vast limestone mountain range with colorful and friendly people living around Dong Van Global Geo-park
– Riding to Pho Bang also called Pho Bang Street – home to the Hoa and H’mong ethnic people. Their clay houses are decorated with a pair of couplets written in Chinese scripts with wishes of good luck and prosperity
– Visit the infamous palace of H’mong king Vuong Chi Sinh built in 1914 and now a symbol of the glorious past of the H’mong ethnic people.
– Visit Dong Van market held every Sunday. In the early morning, ethnic people from near and far carrying alcohols, vegetables, chicken cages, bird cages and even pigs, buffaloes or cows flock to the central market for bartering. The atmosphere is very excited and enthusiastic. Until very later, they drink wine, chat until drunk and the sun sets

Day 4: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Bao Lac
After breakfast, ride motorcycle to Meo Vac valley inhabited by the black Lo Lo and Pu Peo
ethnic minority people who still retain their cultural traditions, colorful costumes and local
house on stilt. This Vietnam motorbike riding help you to explore a beautiful valley filled with picturesque terraced rice fields, winding rivers and peaceful villages nestled at the foot of the hills. Ride crossing Ma Pi Leng highest pass and admire the poetic Nho Que river winding its way to the horizon like a silk ribbon. Overnight at the hotel in Bao Lac.

Day 5: Bao Lac – Cao Bang – Quang Uyen town
Continue a motorcycle riding to Cao Bang province where the mountains are more green but lower with more nice villages of Nung colorful ethnic people. Stop to visit the remote village of black Lo Lo ethnic. Ride across Ma Phuc pass to explore an area of innumerable vast steep limestone karsts inhabited by the Tay and Nung ethnic minorities. Overnight at the home-stay of Nung ethnic people.

Day 6: Quang Uyen – Ban Gioc waterfall – Cao Bang
Motorcycle riding towards the famous Ban Gioc waterfall – the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam, which forms a natural border between Vietnam and China. Discover the spectacular scenery and wonderful world of local ethnic minorities with the traditional handicraft such as the traditional craft of incense stick, the craft of rough paper from mulberry trees. Ride motorbike to Cao Bang province for overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Cao Bang – Ba Be lake
After breakfast, motorcycle riding through the dense old-growth forest and many beautiful ethnic villages to explore the Vietnam highest karstic lake. At the end of day, we put all our bikes on local long-tail boat for crossing Ba Be lake to the nice house on stilt of Tay ethnic people for overnight.

Cancellation
No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour up to 12 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 11 days of departure.
Payment
For any tour departures within 03 July 2022, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 03 July 2022, a deposit of 30% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 11 days before trip departure.
Travel Insurance
This Motorcycle Tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. We recommend using World Nomads’ travel insurance.
